Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Who we are
PixelCore Engine and PixelCore Game Studio are made by SeriousPixel, LLC (“SeriousPixel”, “we”, “us” or “our”), the company behind SeriousPlay Games. This policy explains what information is involved when you visit www.pixelcoreengine.com (the “Site”) and, once they are released, when you use PixelCore Engine, PixelCore Game Studio, PixelScript and the PixelCore MCP server (together, the “Software”).
Information we collect on the Site
We don’t ask you for any personal information. The Site has no sign-up, no login and no forms. The “Get early access” and “Contact” links take you to the contact form on seriouspixel.com, our company website. Nothing is sent unless you choose to submit that form, and what you send there is also covered by that site’s privacy policy.
Cookies, analytics and storage
The Site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, shows no ads and uses no tracking pixels, advertising identifiers or anything else that follows you across websites. It doesn’t store anything on your device. The animations on the Site run entirely in your browser.
Fonts from Google
The Site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, a service of Google LLC. When your browser downloads them, Google receives the technical details that come with any web request, such as your IP address and browser type. Google handles that information under its own Privacy Policy.
Server logs
When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider automatically receives the technical details that come with any web request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. These logs are used to deliver the Site, keep it secure and fix problems, and are kept only for a limited time. We don’t use them to identify you, build a profile of you or advertise to you.
If you contact us
If you send us a message through our contact form, we receive the contact details you give us, such as your name and email address, and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply to you and, if you asked to join the early-access list or to be kept posted, to send you occasional news about PixelCore, including beta invitations. Ask us to stop at any time and we will, and we’ll delete your address. We delete correspondence when it’s no longer needed.
The Software
PixelCore is in development. It is being designed to protect your privacy in the same way:
- Your projects stay on your computer. Game Studio works on project files stored on your own device or in the version-control service you choose. We don’t upload your projects, assets or scripts.
- No tracking by default. Game Studio is planned to send no usage data unless you opt in. Crash reports and anonymous usage statistics, if offered, will be opt-in, explained in plain language and switched off in classroom settings.
- Nothing added to your games. The PixelCore Engine adds no analytics, advertising or tracking to games you build. What your game collects is up to you, under your own privacy policy.
- AI assistants run under your control. The PixelCore MCP server runs locally on your computer and sends nothing to us. If you connect an AI assistant to it, that assistant’s provider handles what you share under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Accounts and purchases. If you create a PixelCore account to manage licenses or buy content packs, we will collect only what we need, such as your email address and purchase history. Payments will be handled by our payment provider under its own privacy policy, and we won’t see your full card details.
Before the Software is released, we will update this policy with the exact details of how it handles information.
Sharing and selling
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site and our contact form and email (and only as needed to do that), or if the law requires it.
Children and classrooms
The Site is for a general audience and collects nothing from visitors, so students can browse it without sharing anything about themselves. If you’re under 13, please ask a parent, guardian or teacher before contacting us. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age where they live); if you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it. PixelCore’s planned classroom mode is designed to work without student accounts or student data.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR and U.S. state privacy laws (including California’s) may give you the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal information, or to object to how it’s used. Because the Site collects nothing about you, the only personal information we may hold is what you sent us through our contact form. You can ask us to access or delete it at any time, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.
Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. Messages you send through our contact form are sent over HTTPS and handled by our service providers with ordinary care.
Links to other websites
The Site links to other sites, including seriouspixel.com, www.seriousplaygames.com and Google Fonts. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy doesn’t cover them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the Site or the Software handles information, we’ll update this policy before the change takes effect and revise the date at the top. We’ll never apply a less protective policy to information we collected under an earlier version without asking you.
